Prestige Guide
Master the reset mechanic — when to prestige, what you keep, and how to make every subsequent run faster.
What Is Prestige?
Prestige is Sail Your Boat's reset mechanic. When you purchase the Prestige Boat at your base, your plot resets — machines, expansions, and cash are wiped — but you gain permanent multipliers that make every subsequent run faster.
You start with a Log Raft and rebuild, but each prestige should feel noticeably quicker than the last.
When Should You Prestige?
- Wait until Auto Pump, Combine, Reactor, and Extractor are all at meaningful levels.
- Make sure you have expanded your plot at least 2–3 times for machine space.
- Have Fuel Refinery unlocked and at a stable upgrade level before your first prestige.
- Prestige when upgrades take more than several minutes to afford — rushing too early wastes mid-tier compounding.
- Use members100k (2× Cash) right before a long active session to maximize pre-prestige earnings.
What Resets vs. What You Keep
Resets: machines, plot expansions, cash, and boat progress on your current run.
Keeps: prestige multipliers, Cash Multiplier Towers, gamepasses, and Roblox group rewards.
Codes are one-time per session — redeem fresh codes after each prestige run.
Post-Prestige Strategy
- Rush Auto Pump and Combine first — you know the path now.
- Skip cosmetic upgrades; focus purely on the machine order.
- Expand plot early to avoid machine placement bottlenecks.
- Target Fuel Refinery faster each run — your multipliers compound.
- Each prestige should cut your time-to-upgrade roughly in half.
